Neighborhood Concerns: Anne, Chris and Keith met with Chelsea on February 20^th @12:00. Discussion of a neighborhood plan for each neighborhood, they would like to focus on two concerns for each neighborhood. Possibilities are theft and robbery, suggestions to prevent – lock doors, possibility – traffic, discussed the crime map.

• Other concerns – need more cops and more are retiring, the new hires are only replacing the retirees.
• The rape that occurred was an "acquaintance rape".
• Domestic violence at 57^th & Penn.
• 5800 blocks of Xerxes and Washburn – reports of people door knocking at 4:30 in the morning and asking for $$. Most concerns are from rental properties about personal safety.
• Speeding on Xerxes.

Boy Scout Troop 6 – acknowledgement of the Troop at the meeting.

PHII – Responsible Driving Program

• Yard signs were discussed, an amount of 250, white with black lettering, $185.00 & $100 for shipping.
• A light controlled crosswalk at 57^th & Penn costs $20,000.
• Clearance zones.
• A motion was made by Peggy Rasmussen to order the signs. Passed.
