Upton Bikeway Meeting

Residents of Fulton and Armatage are encouraged to attend a community meeting on July 8, 7:00 at Armatage Park to review plans for a bike boulevard on the southern leg of Upton Ave S (from 50th Street to 62nd St W) and 62nd St W (from Upton to Queen). Public Works staff will present the proposed plan, including markings, signage and traffic calming measures, and solicit feedback from residents and road users. The bike boulevard is scheduled for installation this summer and fall.

Phase II Construction Week of June 23th
New water hydrant will be installed at 53rd Street W. To accomplish this, the City will need to shut down the water tonight. Water service for all residences and businesses between 52nd and 54th Streets W will be impacted between 11 pm tonight until 5 am tomorrow. Notices have gone out to these addresses.

On March 7, I introduced an interim ordinance (that was unanimously passed by City Council) that temporarily paused the demolition and new construction of single and two-family dwellings in five neighborhoods (Linden Hills, Fulton, Armatage, Kenny, and Lynnhurst) experiencing a rapid pace of demolition and construction of new homes.

Weekend hours will be 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday, with Monday through Friday hours remaining at the current 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
