The Armatage Neighborhood Association is offering NRP funds for home improvements to owner-

occupied and absentee-owned properties. 4% low-interest loans available for exterior, energy efficiency upgrades and now eligible interior improvements to your home with no maximum income limits! Applications will be accepted on a first-come - first-served basis until all the money has been loaned. Bids for improvements will be required with the application.

Energy efficiency upgrades include:

·               Energy efficiency-related improvements that help lower on-going energy costs. Eligible energy efficiency upgrades focused on energy conservation include (but not limited to):

·               Furnace (replace existing with Energy Star model)

·               Water heater (replace existing with Energy Star model)

·               Air conditioning (replace existing with Energy Star model)

·               Insulation (R-48)

·               Doors and Windows (replace existing with Energy Star units)

·               Photovoltaic shingles

Eligible interior improvements include:

·               Updating wiring, plumbing or sewer connections

·               New permanent fixtures

·               Drywall/plaster repair

·               Fireplace/chimney repair

·               Hardwood floor repair or installation

Ineligible interior improvements:

·               Painting, wallpaper or wall treatments

·               Appliances or movable fixtures or decorations

·               Cabinetry work
